2025 Annual ReportYour generosity and dedication made 2025 another standout year. Together, we granted over $163 million, driving progress towards a shared vision where every person in our region has the opportunity to thrive and reach their full potential. A bold vision for the future This year, we laid the groundwork for our 10-year strategic plan to invest $1 billion into our community by 2035. We focused on defining and refining our strategy in areas that make the biggest difference in people’s lives: education, housing, and community & cultural vibrancy. Our shared vision for the region is not just about meeting needs — it’s about building a region where people want to raise their kids, grow their careers, discover their passions, and experience all the things that make life rich and meaningful. To support this ambitious work in 2025, we added capacity to our team, upgraded our technology, launched a new website, and strengthened partnerships to ensure we’re ready for the journey ahead. Onward, together In this report, you’ll learn how GCF brought institutional funders, individual donors, civic institutions, nonprofits, businesses, and community leaders together to meet urgent needs while setting long-term plans in motion. We understand that together is the only way to create lasting, transformative change. In this season of growth, learning, and honest conversations, we are deeply grateful to engage in this meaningful work alongside each of you. A Region Shaped by GenerosityThe most meaningful philanthropy doesn’t just change communities, it enriches the lives of those who give. Our donors share what it feels like to give with intention, guided by trust and shared purpose. “For our giving, we discovered we get the most satisfaction from supporting our passions, which are education and nature. It is especially gratifying when those two passions intersect. One significant benefit of working with GCF is their knowledge regarding where needs exist in the community, plus their help in identifying needs in your areas of passion. Since the majority of the gifts remain local, we have received multiple personal thank-you notes for them, so we know they are appreciated.” Bill & Debra Ash GCF Fundholders “ 5Next >
